The Debating News Has Moved!

Posted on June 23, 2011

Hello Loyal Readers,

In the attempt of improving our outlook, we have designed a brand new site which the new url address is Below are some features about the new site:

Our subscription engine is still being developed. Once it’s up and running we’ll automatically register our existing subscribers. In the future, subscribers will have access to archives beyond one-month. Subscription registration would either be simply via Twitter or FB. Whatever the method is, subscription would not involve any payment.

Please be aware that the site is 80 percent complete. We are working in developing this site to become a community driven site. This simply means, you would be able to contribute to the news and events page, as well as the opinions page with ease. Soon, this sharing platform will also be made available for pictures, podcasts and videos.

Debate Event Services

We also provide marketing and registration services for interested debate events. Your event shall be profiled as a featured debate event via our site, we will design a special page for your event which will include the event details, and interested participants would be able to register to your event via our site. This service is available for a minimum fee. We would charge 1-5 Ringgit from your registration fee depending on the amount of work involved. For more info contact Yunus (his contact details are available below).

Contributor / Columnist

If you are interested to become a contributor or columnist, feel free to contact Yunus. The Debating News will only start paying for any contributions or salary to columnists once we have started roping in investors or advertisers. Our plan is to get the site running until the end of the year and will only start looking for potential advertisers after WUPID or the Worlds.

Well, that’s all for now. For updates, follow us on Twitter (The Debating News) or Facebook. If you have any enquiries or have any idea in improving our site, please share them with me. Thank you.

Warmest regards,
